Which include being perimenopausal, thyroid dysfunction, and PCOS. But one of the things that people don’t associate and realize about hair loss is that if your periods are very heavy, and you’re losing iron and Ferotin in your blood loss during that period, your hair can start falling out. So one of the common symptoms I see of women with heavy periods caused by Fibroids is their hair falls out.
