Good morning, everybody. Today, we’re going to talk about hair loss.

A lot of patients come to me complaining about their hair thinning, and there are many hormonal causes for hair loss in women, which include being perimenopausal, thyroid dysfunction, and PCOS. But one of the things that people don’t associate with hair loss—or realize—is that if your periods are very heavy and you’re losing iron and ferritin in your blood loss during that period, your hair can start falling out.

One of the common symptoms I see in women with heavy periods caused by fibroids is that their hair falls out. So, if you feel like your hair is falling out more than normal, it’s important to have your gynecologist assess how heavy your period is by getting a blood count. Get an ultrasound to see if there are any fibroids in your uterus that may be causing this heavy bleeding. This may be the trick to getting you on the path back to healthy hair.

Good morning, everybody. This is Dr. Sima, or Dr. J as some of you know me, from Alchemy Wellness, and this morning I’m going to talk about the Sinusure TempSure.

I love this machine. The reason I got this machine is because it has zero downtime. Not everybody can be out for several days with scabbing or a swollen face. For those people who need something that’s going to work, without downtime, and can roll in and out of work—come in at lunchtime, get this done, and look better immediately after—this is the machine.

How it works is radio frequency. Radiofrequency puts waves under your skin and creates heat. Think about putting things in the dryer. When you put your jeans in the dryer, they shrink, and their wrinkles go away, right? That’s what it does to your face. It tightens the face and eliminates wrinkles.

Welcome. The following video will provide you with an overview of what to expect during your SculpSure treatment.

Prior to treatment, you and your treatment provider will discuss your areas of concern and develop a treatment plan to help you achieve your desired results. Your provider will assess and mark the areas for treatment. The appropriate frames will be selected for each area treated.

The first frame will be secured to the treatment area with a belt. Applicators will be placed in each frame.

Once all applicators are in place, your 25-minute treatment will begin. During treatment, you’ll feel periods of cooling and deep heating sensations. In fact, the cooling is on throughout your entire treatment.

After the first treatment is complete, the process will be repeated for the remaining treatment areas.

After all areas have been treated, you are free to return to your daily activities.

I’ve always had problems with my love handles and my lower abs. I was never quite able to get rid of that excess body fat around that area.
